Choosing your first course

Start from your goal, not the catalog. "I want to edit videos for my business" points at one course. Browsing fifty courses points at none.
A simple method
1.Name the thing you want to be able to make: a video, a website, a track, a spreadsheet that behaves.2.Open that school and pick the beginner course for the most relevant tool.3.Read the syllabus. If module one looks doable and module four looks exciting, it fits.4.Read the first lesson, which is a written overview of what the course covers, what you need, and who it is not for.5.Commit to finishing it before starting a second. Finishing is the skill under the skill.
