Deleting your account

You can delete your account yourself, from the Account tab of account settings. It is permanent, and there is no undo.
What happens
1.You type "delete my account" to confirm. That is there to protect you from a slip.2.We cancel your subscription first, at the end of the period you have paid for. If that fails, nothing is deleted, so you are never left being charged with no account to cancel from.3.Your account, progress, notes, recordings and certificates are then erased.
Before you delete
- Download your data, and export your notes as Markdown. Both are gone afterward.
- Download the PDF of any certificate you want to keep. Deleting the account removes them, and their verification links stop working.
- If you only want to stop paying, cancel instead. Cancelling keeps everything and costs nothing.
Accounts are never deleted for inactivity. If you are only stepping away for a while, you do not need to do anything at all.
