How certificates work

Updated Aug 2026 · 2 min read

Every course includes a certificate at no extra cost. There is nothing to apply for and no exam fee. It is issued the moment you pass the final exam.

Earning one

1.Complete every lesson in the course. The syllabus shows a tick against each one.2.Pass every knowledge check in the course.3.The final exam opens once both of those are done. Pass it, and the certificate is issued automatically.4.It appears on your certificates page within a minute or two, ready to download.

What is on it

  • Your name, exactly as it appears in your profile settings.
  • The course name, the school, and the date you completed it.
  • A unique credential ID and a QR code, both pointing at a public verification page.

Good to know

  • Certificates never expire, and you keep them if you cancel your subscription.
  • They prove you completed the course. They are not an accredited qualification or university credit.
  • If you finished a course before the final exam existed, your certificate is already yours. The exam is there if you want the practice.

A certificate proves you finished. The work you built along the way is what gets you hired, so do the projects properly.
