Taking notes and voice notes
Updated Aug 2026 · 2 min read
Every lesson has a Notes panel. Type a note, or record one and let it write itself up.
Text notes
Open Notes in the lesson, write, and choose Save note. It is attached to that lesson, so it is there next time you open it, and it appears in your notes hub grouped by module.
Voice notes
- Record up to 10 minutes per note. Your browser asks for microphone permission the first time.
- The recording is transcribed automatically, then summarized into key points.
- The transcript is editable. Transcription is good rather than perfect, so fix anything it misheard and refresh the summary.
- Daily limits are 10 voice notes or 30 minutes of audio, whichever comes first. They reset the next day.
If a recording fails
Your audio is held on your device while it uploads, so a dropped connection does not lose the recording. Choose Retry and it picks up where it stopped. If the write-up fails instead, the audio is still safe and Retry runs it again.
If the microphone is blocked, the browser is refusing rather than the site failing. Allow mic access for the site in your browser settings and try again.
