How lessons and modules work

A course is a set of modules, and each module is a handful of short lessons. You work through them in order, though nothing stops you jumping around.
What is in a lesson
- A video, for most lessons. The first lesson of every course is the exception: it is a written overview, with no video by design.
- Written explanation, worked examples, and hands-on activities you complete on the page.
- A knowledge check at the end of most modules.
- Downloads and links, where the course has them, under Resources.
Moving through a course
1.Open a lesson from the syllabus rail on the left of the player.2.Watch, read, and finish the activities on the page. The rail ticks each step as you go.3.Choose Mark complete at the bottom. The lesson is ticked and the next one is a click away.4.At the end of a module, take the knowledge check.
Taking more than one course at once
You can start as many as you like, and your dashboard tracks each one separately. Whether you should is a different question: two at a time is manageable, five is how courses get abandoned.
Lessons are not locked behind one another. If a later module is more useful to you today, go there. The one thing that has to wait is the final exam, which opens once everything else is done.
